What does it cost?
The first couple of sessions are free to give you a chance to come along and take part before deciding whether you want to join the club.  Memebership fees are collected in August and are currently £65 for the year.  This can be paid in two instalments of £32.50 or if paid in one instalment in August qualifies for a £5 discount.  This membership allows you to attend training on a Thursday evening and take part in any friendly matches or tournaments organised by the club.

If you decide you would like to join a team and take part in competitive matches played at the weekend during the winter season there is a further fee of £28.50 which is payable to All England Netball which covers your insurance to take part.  An annual kit fee of £10 provides you with a kit to play matches in.

Referees and coaches
Apart from playing, there are other opportunities to get involved in netball.  If you are thinking about taking a refereeing or coaching qualification the club will support you, help you obtain funding, find courses and most importantly get you that much-needed practice and experience.  Please talk to Sally Shipley (umpiring and coaching rep).

Ely expects all players to treat their captains, coaches and fellow players with respect.

Committee meetings take place on the second Thursday of alternate months unless otherwise agreed by the chair.  Please talk to your captain if you want to know more about putting an item on the agenda, the committee procedure or receiving the minutes of the committee.
